Instructions for use:
✢ Preparation: Before any emergency arises, carefully review the contents and the instruction manual to familiarize yourself with the location and purpose of each item for both human and pet application.
✢ Safety First: Prioritize safety. If possible, wear the disposable gloves provided to maintain hygiene. Check the scene to ensure it is safe to approach the injured person or animal (exercise caution as injured pets may bite or scratch).
✢ Cleaning: For minor cuts, scrapes, or burns, gently clean the wound with an Antiseptic Wipe or Sterile Gauze Pad. Note: Ensure any applied solutions are safe for animal use if treating a pet.
✢ Dressing: Apply a thin layer of Antibiotic Ointment to prevent infection (for minor wounds). Cover the wound with an appropriate non-adherent pad or sterile gauze pad.
✢Bandaging: Secure the dressing in place using a roller bandage or adhesive bandage (use cohesive wrap for pets to avoid sticking to fur). Use medical tape if necessary. For bleeding, apply direct pressure with a sterile pad.
✢Tool Usage: Use tweezers to carefully remove small debris or ticks from the skin or fur. Use scissors to cut bandages, tape, or matted fur around wounds. The cold pack can be activated for sprains or bruises to reduce swelling.
✢Seek Professional Help: This kit is intended for initial care only. For serious injuries, severe bleeding, suspected fractures, or any uncertain condition, call emergency services or a veterinarian immediately.
