Instructions for use
✢ Carefully clean the wound and its surrounding area with sterile water or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin gently.
✢ Open the package and remove the dressing. Make sure the medical PU film backing is facing away from the skin and the foam is facing the side of the wound or skin. Use a secondary dressing or bandage to secure the foam dressing in place.
✢ The frequency of dressing replacement depends on the type of wound, amount of exudate and clinical condition, or on the treatment procedure. However, it is recommended that you replace the dressings every 24hrs or earlier if wound exudates are seeping to the edge of the dressing.
✢ To remove the dressing, use tweezers or a gloved hand to gently peel off the dressing away from the wound.
